When they are evaluating schools, designing programs, or deciding the next steps in organizational strategy, several government agencies and other organizations have hired Adam to consult them on youth engagement. The following are some of the organizations he has consulted.

Examples of Adam's Consulting
Washington State Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction. Concerned about the effectiveness of their subgrantees' service learning programs, the Service Learning Program at OSPI contracted with Adam to consult dozens of elementary, middle and high schools across the state.
The HumanLinks Foundation. A small family foundation located in Bothell, Washington, wanted to create a student voice initiative. Adam guided organization staff in funding decisions, program operations, and other efforts. He was ultimately tasked with creating a website and a series of publications, and spoke at dozens of state and national events on behalf of the foundation.
Student Equity Program. The Seattle Public Schools Office of Race and Equity contracted with Adam to create and supported Student Equity Teams focused on meaningful student involvement and race relations in 10 high schools across Seattle. He also assisted the district office in focusing on meaningful student involvement.
Washington State Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction. Adam consulted OSPI's School Improvement Planning program about meaningful student involvement in conjunction with the Elementary and Secondary Education Act. His Frameworks of Meaningful Student Involvement were consequently incorporated into Washington State's formal school improvement planning process.
